Rena was the point person in hiring, onboarding, and training initial editors and getting them up to speed to meet rigorous content goals and editing standards. She worked closely with copy editors to establish voice, tone, and style guidelines and was a communicative and effective liaison between copy editors and the rest of the team.”

She is a fantastic advocate and really enjoys bringing differing opinions together on common ground. I highly recommend Rena for people managing complex environments.“

“Rena and I collaborated for a little under a year at U.S. News, where she served as an Assistant Managing Editor on the 360 Reviews team, with a focus on the Commerce side of the business, of which I was a part. Despite our brief time working together, it was abundantly clear that Rena is a phenomenal editorial leader.
Her wealth of experience in content strategy was pivotal in the development of our Editorial Roadmap at the time. Rena brought innovative ideas to the table that elevated the quality of our ideation sessions as a team, motivating us to continuously enhance our consumer reviews product. Beyond her professional expertise, Rena was very well-liked and respected by our team, serving as an amazing cross-functional partner. I’ve missed working with her, and any company would be fortunate to have her on board!”
